The position is responsible for the development and delivery of the PTD education, skills, and training programs to ensure the department's compliance of local, state, and federal regulations. Emphasis will be focused on the department's Operations staff (specifically bus operator training); and will work in conjunction with other PTD staff to deliver training as it relates to most-current practices of prevention, safety, and security. Outline and develop training programs to provide education and skills to new and existing department staff. Responsible for producing and maintaining written processes, coordinating and delivering training and education activities, and researching new and advanced new and advanced methodologies to be implemented for the benefit of staff and customers. On-board new employees into the department to welcome them and train on relevant department policies and procedures. Perform other required duties as assigned.
