Individuals will be exposed to outdoor allergens such as grass and other pollen.Job RequirementsThe following are required:* Must be 16 years of age or older.* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations, and over 50 pounds with assistance.* Ability to work outside in an environment with grass, pollen, and other environmental allergens.The following are preferred:* Basic knowledge in landscaping and grounds maintenance.Essential Job Functions* Performs unskilled landscaping duties including trash cleanup, raking, and operating a gas push mower or trimmer.* Works within established safety procedures.* Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with coworkers and the community.* Performs other duties as assigned.Physical /Mental DemandsThe physical demands of this job require frequent standing, walking, sitting, speaking and hearing. Specific visual abilities are also required. The employee is regularly required to reach with his/her hands and arms and occasionally lift items weighing less than 40 lbs. Additionally, the employee must be able to understand vague and implicit instructions, be able to readily recall facts and details, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.
