About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Advocacy and Legal Services to lead our mission of providing exceptional legal and advocacy services that protect the rights of individuals with disabilities. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee and manage our statewide protection and advocacy services, focusing on systems advocacy, program planning, and maintaining financial health. Your strong background in nonprofit organizational management, along with your comprehensive understanding of disability issues, legal, and legislative matters, will be crucial for success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the Board of Directors and staff to ensure effective service delivery and operational continuity.
• Building and nurturing relationships within the team and with community partners.
• Enhancing organizational operations and securing additional funding sources.
• Increasing revenues through donor and grant development.
• Managing government grants and ensuring compliance.
• Serving as the primary spokesperson, effectively engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
