Starting Pay:$21.00 per hour. We offer boosted pay for weekend shifts and for providing care to couples — your time and effort matter.Additionally, wages are reviewed at 90 days and then annually, for more earning potential.

Schedule Options:

• Shifts are scheduled based on your availability and desired hours. You may work with multiple clients. Each shift is a minimum of 4 hours.
• During your interview, we'll chat about your preferred work times. Since we provide care 24/7/365, we'll match you with clients based on what works best for you, withing your provided availability.

Essential Job Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification are mandatory, but we'll offer the training if you need it.
• Candidates must also complete pre-employment drug and Tuberculosis screenings.
• Valid driver's license or state ID required.
• Maintain valid auto insurance since driving is part of the job.
• Committed to treating clients and their homes with the utmost dignity, respect, and care.
• Comfortable using technology, including cell phones, tablets and mobile apps.
• Physically able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and able to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed to provide quality care.
• Comfortable working in a variety of home environments, which may occasionally include exposure to common household elements.

Primary Responsibilities
As a Care Professional with Home Instead®, you'll play a key role in enhancing the lives of aging adults — all while reflecting the core values of our locally owned and operated franchise. Your day-to-day may include:

Creating a Positive Home Environment

• Contribute to a warm, supportive atmosphere that improves each client's quality of life
• Document daily activities and report any notable changes in a client's condition or needs
• Maintain open and regular communication with your supervisor and office team

• Offer meaningful companionship and friendly conversation
• Assist with walking or mobility stabilization
• Prepare meals and clean up after mealtime
• Provide reminders for medications and appointments
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, bed-making, laundry, cleaning bathrooms/kitchens, etc.)
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments

• Help with bathing, grooming, and hygiene routines
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care

• Provide support for individuals living with dementia
• Offer comfort-focused care for clients receiving hospice services

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Complete all required training through our user-friendly online learning platform to keep your skills sharp and up to date.
• Join company-sponsored training sessions and social events, including Care Pro meetings, to connect and grow with the team.
• Accurately report your hours following office guidelines and promptly communicate any changes in your availability.
• Keep detailed notes by documenting client related information in the Client Journal.
• Occasionally assist clients with errands/appointments. This could include providing transportation (using your vehicle or theirs) when needed.
• Take on other reasonable tasks as assigned to support our mission and clients.

Work Location:

• On-site, providing hands-on, in-person care right where the client calls home and feels most comfortable.
