The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), Division of Alaska Army National Guard Facilities (ARNG) is recruiting for an Maintenance Generalist - Sub-Journey 1!
This position is in the Labor, Trades, and Crafts (LTC) bargaining unit at a wage grade 58.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a part of the Facilities team, you are vital in ensuring the safe and appealing upkeep of state properties through efficient ice and snow removal and diligent lawn maintenance using various equipment. Your responsibilities include operating mowers, edger(s), and snow removal tools, as well as maintaining the facility's aesthetic and functionality through tasks like light painting, bulb changes, and general cleaning. Collaborating with Maintenance Generalists, Specialists, Electricians, and Equipment Operators, you contribute to a harmonious operational environment by performing routine maintenance and handling minor repairs, ensuring that all facilities are in optimal condition.

The successful applicants must pass a federal background check in order to qualify for military base access, which is required with this position's work location on base. The background check may include fingerprinting.
