Marine Operations Forklift Operator
UIC, Bowhead Transport seeks a seasonal, land/sea-based Forklift Operator to be responsible for the safe operation of the forklift. The operator will offload and backload cargo on barges and in freight yards under the direction of the Barge Master and Cargo Operations Manager. Other tasks will include lashing, housekeeping on the barge and yards, minor forklift maintenance, and report writing as needed. Regular travel throughout Alaska between April and October is expected.

The work environment varies and includes, but is not limited to dock, port, bay, beaches, waterways, office space, equipment rooms, warehouse space, construction zones, and outdoor environments.
