JOB STATEMENT/PURPOSE:

Store General Manager is to execute the vision/mission of Uncle Joe's Pizzeria. Key responsibility areas include team performance, increased sales and profitability, 100% customer satisfaction, and the development, training and retention of quality team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensures excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations.
2. Ensures that the restaurant is adequately staffed to meet guest needs.
3. Controlling day-to-day operations by following cash control/security procedures and taking appropriate actions.
4. Operating the business in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws.
5. Will directly impact interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
6. Responsible for producing payroll reports, tracking all food and labor costs.
7. Properly ordering food and beverage for store.
8. Properly and efficiently scheduling staff. Limit overtime to only when necessary.
9. Manage all shifts, which include daily decision-making, staff support, scheduling and planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
10. Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour.
11. Enforcing safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for both guests and crew members.
12. Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards.
13. Meet the restaurant's P&L and expense goals.
14. Promoting suggestive selling techniques.
15. Maintaining professional behavior while creating a warm, fun, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as manager in casual dining.
3. Experience with full service alcohol serving facility desirable.
4. Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
5. Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing, and motivating a team. Some exposure to P&L and sales building highly desirable.
6. Municipal Food Worker Card, Serve Safe Certified, TAM/TAPS Card.
