The Manufacturer Payables Associate is responsible for retrieving and posting store invoices from multiple Manufacturer websites and locations daily.

Who would I interact with?

Interacts with Internal and External customers at various levels, Reconciliation team, Manufacturer Payable team, Supervisor and Management.

Primary Job Responsibilities (included by not limited to):

  • Process assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner meeting all Service Level Agreements
  • Post detail on all Parts, Miscellaneous, Warranty credit memos, PDI payments, Floorplan Assistance Statements, Warranty Registrations and Cancellation memos, etc. meeting all Service Level Agreements
  • Save (electronically) all invoice copies to reconciliation folder within Service Level Agreements
  • Package all invoices daily to be processed via Coupa
  • Work with the Reconciliation department to ensure all reconciliation exception issues are resolved and corrected prior to end of month
  • Update MFR training and coding document(s) with any changes to ensure accurate up-to-date standardized process
  • Escalate issues to leadership timely
  • Assist with projects as needed under the direction of the BOS AP Director / Manager / Supervisor

Problem Solving:

Ability to utilize multiple tools available in order to resolve problems in a timely manner, evaluating the difference between data inputs and the values in various AutoNation systems.

Decision Making:

Responsible for reviewing data and comparing against training guides per role in job description. After comparing data, problem solve any mismatches of transactions and escalate to Lead or Supervisor for resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years Coding and or Bookkeeping experience
  • 10 Key 10,000 ksph / Type 40 mpm / min. 90% accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience handling high volume of data in multiple computer database systems
  • Excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities
  • Team player with superior service skills
  • Capable of working independently and as a team member in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automotive Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
  • CDK experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting

This is a largely sedentary role with extended period looking at computer monitors.
