FEAM Aero is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic / GSE Technician. The Automotive Mechanic / GSE Technician reports to the GSE Manager and is responsible for assisting the GSE operation. Job Duties: Coordination of activities within the GSE department based on GSE Manager direction. Ensure that the companys fleet, equipment, material, and manpower time are being properly documented in CMMS. Troubleshooting and repair of all GSE equipment. Inspects GSE (ground support equipment) and their components for the purpose of ensuring safety, identifying necessary repairs, and overseeing an ongoing program of preventative maintenance. Ensures that personnel during their shift follow the companys prescribed safety practices in the performance of their duties. Maintains tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items in safe operating conditions. Works with the GSE Manager to meet department goals and maintain costs. Responsible for completing all associated forms and reports for GSE Services such as but not limited to billing, accidents, audits, training, service checks, and inventories. Ensure the GSE shop is maintained in a neat and organized manner. Liaise with the customer as required; ensuring proper work performance and customer needs are met. Prepares and sends out daily turnover to appropriate departments identifying the status of vehicles and equipment. Assist with other duties as assigned by GSE Manager and other departments as needed. Requirements 5+ years of relevant experience in diesel and gas maintenance of automobiles, and truck maintenance, and ground support equipment in a similar field. Fleet maintenance of medium duty preferred. Experience in the repair of both auto and truck fleet mechanical preferred. Willingness to assist with a wide range of requests and needs. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
