This position is clerical in a remote site camp and involves administrative/clerical duties, as well as customer service duties, similar to a hotel front desk. The candidate must be able to perform accurate accounting of people coming to and from the location, must be able to learn the existing billeting system quickly and become familiar with all department heads and schedules.
General duties include, but not limited to:
- Assign rooms using existing client software.
- Manage existing room assignments.
- Create incoming and outgoing boat manifests using existing schedules from department heads.
- Establish working relationships with department heads to ensure that all people are documented going in and out.
- Create housekeeping lists from departed people for room cleaning assignments.
- Manage commissary desk sales, inventory and ordering per existing process.
- Perform some housekeeping/janitorial duties as assigned by project manager.
In addition to the duties performed, the individual must be able to physical and mentally work away from home, family and friends for extended remote rotation. 12 hours daily, 7 days a week, 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Remote site camp experience is helpful. Hotel front desk experience is a plus.
Certifications - Valid Drivers' License and clean driving record may be required
