Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: NC license can pend Certifications: EPIC experience required Must-Have: Flu Vaccine - Required (No Exemptions) Job Description: - Perform echocardiography procedures to include, but not limited to, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms. - Ensure accurate capture and documentation of cardiac anatomy and function. - Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret echocardiographic findings. - Maintain echocardiography equipment and ensure it is in good working condition. - Attend a full week of orientation, with the first four days being remote and the fifth day in person. - Successful completion of pre-employment online testing in Safe Medication Administration and specific competency areas. - Acknowledge and complete a summary of Transfusion Therapy. - Adhere to policies related to previous employment, specifically resignation or termination must have been one year or longer. - Compliance with residency requirements; candidates must live more than 50 miles from their assigned facility. - Attend remote orientation days on a laptop, as smartphones or tablets are not permitted.
