Job Summary:Load Controller will select all cargo/mail for Everts Air Cargo flights. The aircraft load controller will be responsible for the weight and balance of cargo aircraft and the compatibility of hazardous material shipments on each flight.This position has a secondary responsibility as Cargo Personnel to assist the Cargo, Ramp, Warehouse departments in Non-Safety Sensitive Duties as needed when not immediately engaged in Load Controller duties.Compensation $20.00 per hour Employment Type Full-Time T-Sa 8AM-4:30pm FLSA Status Non-Exempt Regular/Temporary Regular Requisition ID 587639746Essential Functions:Select cargo/mail for flights based on destination, priority, dateAssemble/Maintain mail/cargo documentation for aircraft flight package and provide oversight of high priority/preciousPerform weight/balance/shoring calculations, prepare load pullCommunicate proper flight notifications and aircraft payload information with Flight Following, Maintenance, Cargo and Line FacilityPerform Aircraft Scheduling duties in absence of PrimaryPerform cargo customer service, cargo, warehouse in non-safety sensitive functions asAttention to detail, ability to ensure a high level of accuracy in all dataConduct freight and mail audits.Ensure timely outstation communication is conducted for all flights.Other Duties as assigned.Cargo Essential Functions:Consolidate and label freight and mail for each flight. Physically locate all outbound freight using the Takeflight manifest as a reference. Consolidate freight and mail by type. Properly label freight and mail. Use efficient consolidation techniques for mixedComplete accurate and detailed Load Schedules for specific aircraft and deliver all Cargo related paperwork to Load Planning within 2 hours of flight departure.Ensure proper aircraft preparation. Coordinate with Ramp personnel regarding Aircraft Parking position, fuel numbers, coordinate with Flight Crew and Ramp for De-icing.Assist Cargo personnel in loading and unloading of aircraft.
