We are seeking a highly skilled Building Contractor to join our team. As a Building Contractor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that all projects are completed to the client's satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Building Contractor or similar role
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
Experience with commercial construction projects
Experience with pre-construction planning and estimating
Experience with LEED certification and sustainable building practices
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that all projects are completed to the client's satisfaction
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and other construction professionals
Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
Skills:
As a Building Contractor, you will use your expertise in renovation, drywall, cabinetry, construction management, commercial construction, blueprint reading, commercial building, commercial projects, and pre-construction to manage and oversee construction projects. You will also use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that all projects are completed to the client's satisfaction. Your excellent project management and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, your knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements will be critical in ensuring compliance throughout the construction process.
