Warehouse Sanitation Worker

Perform job functions in assigned areas as needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, offices, and other areas.
  • Properly clean and sanitize restrooms.
  • Properly maintain company equipment.
  • Operate all power equipment associated with the sanitation department.
SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Previous custodial experience preferred.
  • Ability to change hours and or job assignments as required.
  • Knowledge of custodial cleaning supplies helpful.
  • Ability to reach and lift cleaning work aides and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds, with an average weight lifted of 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull heavy floor cleaning machines and be on feet on concrete floor 8-10 hours per day or longer, if needed/per shift.
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and twist and meet all other physical demands of the position.

This is a union position, union dues and a dispatch letter will be required before starting work.
