JOB SUMMARYUnder the supervision of facility Maintenance Supervisor, the employee performs office moves, furniture repairs, furniture assembly and disassembly, performs warehouse duties, snow removal and assists with other general maintenance functions as needed.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentValid Alaska driver's license and safe driving recordAble to proficiently speak, read, understand and write EnglishESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTransport equipment, furniture, and materials to and from the COPA complex including sensitive data and computer equipmentInstall, repair, and refinish office furnishings to ensure a safe working environmentLight carpentry duties such as specialty crating and pallet buildingAssist in identifying surplus items for donations to designated organizations as well as transporting and setup of these itemsAssist with maintenance technician and utility functions as needed within the complexAbility to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe mannerWillingness to perform other duties as requiredWillingness to work at various locations as requiredJOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESProblem Solving: Anticipates and identifies problems, distinguishes between symptoms and causes, and determines alternative solutions involving varied levels of complexity, ambiguity and riskDependability: Consistently adheres to operational standards, ensures smooth operations and positive customer experiences, builds a productive workplace, is reliable and improves team moraleIndependence: Works with little or no supervisionTime Management: Manages time effectively when accomplishing tasks, projects, and goalsBENEFITSFull-time regular employees have the opportunity to enroll in health insurance, life insurance, 401k Retirement Plan and short term disability insurance.
