WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As the Administrative Officer 1, you will manage budget analysis, oversee budget preparation, and develop fiscal projections, ensuring compliance with state and department policies. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Executive Director and team on impactful special projects and board initiatives.

The Department of Public Safety, Violent Crimes Compensation Board (VCCB) can help bring financial relief to innocent victims of violent crimes in Alaska. This position is responsible for claim processing management and direct victim and provider assistance. This position will work with a close-knit team of task driven individuals to help crime victims in Alaska.

THE WORKING CONDITIONS YOU CAN EXPECT:
This position is located in the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation building in Anchorage at 4300 Boniface Parkway; nestled at the foot of the beautiful Chugach Mountains. The daily work environment consists of a small team of task-driven individuals. The incumbent will work closely with team members to support the mission. Some travel may be required to fulfill job duties
