**Program Service Manager**

**Job Description**

Responsible for the day-to-day administration, oversight and management of the afternoon/evening program including program management, staff supervision, training, and regulatory compliance and childcare billing. Promote family partnerships through home visits, parent and community involvement, education, and family activities to achieve outcomes that lead to positive and enduring change for children and families.

**Minimum Qualifications**

* Associates degree in early childhood or related field. Bachelors degree preferred.

* Three years of experience in child development.

* Experience working with families / clients in a supportive role.

* Knowledge of adult learning principles and family dynamics.

* Excellent communication, listening and observation skills, sensitivity to individual and cultural diversity.

* Capable of self-direction, decision making and working independently with minimal supervision.

* Ability to work flexible hours on occasion.

**Employment Requirements**

* Pre-hire: Fingerprinting/Background Check

* Post-hire: Annual Physical/Health History

* CPR and First Aid Certification

* Food Worker Card

* Current Auto Insurance Card

**General Information**

Location: Head Start Program, Wasilla

Supervisor: Center Coordinator

Schedule: Full-time, non-exempt (40 hours a week, 35 weeks a year)

Salary: $19.95 - $24.60 per hour DOE/E
