Category Food Services and Hospitality Job Type Temporary Education High School / GED Travel None Security Clearance Required None POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): The position of **On-Call Event Host** reports to the Afognak Services Director and its Alutiiq subsidiaries staff.

**Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):**

* Ensure renters and guests abide within the guidelines listed in the rental contract.

* Provide assistance to renters and guests regarding use of room technology.

* Make sure coffee & hot water is available to guests.

* Conduct hourly walk thru during an event and replenish toiletries, monitor trash, coffee, coffee add-ins and property perimeter checks for safety and overall quality satisfaction.

* Light janitorial work including taking out trashes & wiping countertops.

* Collect table linens & put them in the laundry bin.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: **Required Qualifications and Experience:**

* Ability to communicate with the public in a professional and courteous manner and handle difficult situations

* Must adhere to the Corporations confidentiality policy

* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively

* Required High School Diploma or GED

* Valid state drivers license with a clean driving record.
