***S*** **UMMARY**

Bering Straits Development Company a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified part-time Housekeeper for the Aurora Inn in Nome, AK.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Clean rooms/bathrooms

* Clean laundry room

* Keep hallways and stairways clear

* Ensure carts are fully stocked

**QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION**

**Required (Minimum) Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Basic Math Skills

* Customer Service

* People Person

* Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

* Ability to multi-task

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more

* Ability to stand for long periods of time

**Preferred**

* Knowledge of OPERA preferred

Job is performed in a hotel, both inside and outside of the building, and may include other Bering Straits properties as needed.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

* No supervisory responsibilities.

**ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS**

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
